Depends: The location, color and character of the bumps can vary and so they could be simple acne, areolar glands, skin irritation or something else.  If you want them to go away ask your healthcare provider so they can look and help decide what is causing them.

Areolar glands: Areolar glands are sebaceous glands in the areola surrounding the nipple. The glands make oily secretions (lipoid fluid) to keep the areola and the nipple lubricated and protected. The round bumps are found in the areola, and on the nipple itself. They can become exposed and raised when the nipple is stimulated, and irritated by over-stimulation and ill-fitting clothing. i have keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs. i have been moisturizing my skin regularly. i observed small bumps on my breast recently. does kp occur on breast? sometimes i have this urge of itching on the areas of kp. what is the solution for this?

: Besides moisturizer you need a steroid cream which will alleviate the itching.

Breast lump: Sounds like a Montgomery gland cyst. If it is small, painless and doesn't change then it isn't a serious issue and needs no treatment.

Bump: may just be a skin tag.  Best option is to have someone look at.

Never sure!: If you suspicion a lump in your breast, please be safe and not sorry.  Yest there are plenty of benign causes for breast lumps.  However, a dog can have ticks and fleas at the same time.  There are good diagnostic tools to help tell if a lesion is a cyst, fat, a solid lesion or in infection.  Get to your pcp, gyn, breast care surgeon or breast center and get checked out.  Don't take a lump 4 this!
