Rash: Rash between the legs is often due to a yeast infection caused by friction and moisture. Scabs on the foreskin do not sound like a yeast infection there. It is advisable that you see your physician for diagnosis and treatment.

However they often drag germs deep into the tissue & eventually produce an infection that can spread into the body. In my office i often need a local anesthetic, good light & equipment to get the remaining material out of the deep skin or deeper layers. Have him seen.

Local care: Fear not, this will still heal fine.  Keep clean with gentle use of soap and water in the shower, and do not hesitate to apply a triple antibiotic ointment lightly each day.  This will soon he'll in on its own.  Avoid sexual activity for several weeks until clear to prevent further compromise of the incision.
