the last three days ive had a tight stomach with nausea and tightness on the left side of my chest. it takes a while to get that one big breath back to feel better. no covid exposure. even when i breathe into my chest it hurts. bp normal?

: Monitor temperature and breathe. if you have vomiting,fever or worsening pain, please see the Emergency room. If you are able to wait, a follow up appointment with your physician is recommended. Pneumonia should be ruled out. COVID-19 and flu vaccines are recommended.

Upset stomach: See your pcp to rule out the possibility of a stomach ulcer.

i have chronic nausea and my stomach will randomly feel like its full of water/jelly! and i get super nauseous and uncomfy feeling too! this has been happening on and off for the past 3 years but now is getting worst! and my doctors are no help?

: It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Nausea: Without any detail, it is impossible to pinpoint the cause.  If it is new onset nausea, just cut back your diet to liquids for a few days. You could consider an anti-acid medication for a few days to see if it helps.  If the nausea lasts longer than a week or so, you need to be seen to determine the source. Good luck.

The symptoms seen in depression include loss of interest, sleep problems, guilt, loss of energy, poor concentration, sadness, and thoughts of death. Unlikely: Lupus is basically a form of "vasculitis" which affects small blood vessels such as those in the kidneys, joints (arthritis) and skin! The GI tract is generally unaffected! The MEDICATIONS used to TREAT Lupus are another story! Most of them have mild-moderate GI effects!

Stomach problem: It can be gastritis, stomach or duodenal ulcer, gallbladder problem, pancreas issues, etc, etc, etc. More history and a physical exam is needed to help you further.
