the vein at the left side of my neck feels swollen especially when i try to get up from bed. why is it like that?

Normal: Neck veins distend when we lie with our head lower than our heart or when we strain.  With straining, the pressure within the chest increases and the blood flow through the neck veins decrease resulting in them enlarging.When straining is stopped, the pressure in the chest decreases and flow continues through the neck veins so they become less engorged.

my jugular veins are pulsating and very visible when lying down. neck feels swollen and pain in neck, jaw and heart feels weak is this a heart problem?

May be normal physio: This may be  normal physiology. Your best  approach is to see your physician. Dilated veins or neck artery I can't tell. This  may or  may not be due to your heart.

See your doctor: you probably need to have your thyroid checked. Too much thyroid hormone can make you feel anxious and dizzy.

Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad  like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.  They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.  They shrink when all is well.

See a doctor: You need to be examined and tested to answer these questions accurately.  This could be an infectious mononucleosis-like syndrome (which can be caused by several different bugs), or a variety of other things.  Go and get evaluated and appropriately managed.  Good luck.

Aches and pains: You should go as soon as possible to the nearest emergency facility.
They might help you there or might see a need to send you to the hospital.

Need more info: It would be helpful to know if you are over weight or very slim. Your age is also important. It could all be anatomically normal but nevertheless it should be investigated by your family physician.
