Normal reflex: Retraction of the testicle is a reflex called the Cremaster reflex, normal and should relax on it's own after time, or soaking in warm water

Hydroceole/Hernia: Sounds like a communicating hydroceole with or without a hernia:  if the passage from your abdominal cavity to your scrotum on that side has not closed off spontaneously, then abdiominal fluid can pass in and out of the space around your testicle. The passage (a patent processus vaginalis) is also the site/cause for a hernia.  You should be evaluated by a urologist or general surgeon.

Scrotal lump : The testicle can vary in size. Sometimes the variation in size is associated with enlarged veins. A lump outside the testicle can occur from cysts and other reasons. You should have it evaluated

You might had!: if one of your testicle is smaller and free to move you might had partial torsion enough to compromise the blood supply and effect the growth of the testicle.full torsion associate with a lot of pain and hard to be missed.

Spermatocele: Spermatocele is an abnormal retention cyst or collection of fluid at the epididymis (the "cap" on the back of the testis) or rete testis and depending on the size could cause your left testis to hang "differently" than the right.  You should be examined by a physician however, and if bothersome, you could have the spermatocele removed.

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
