Very unusual: Testicles do not split in 2. Maybe have a cyst of epididymis which feels like a second testis, or head of epididymis is separate from testis ; feels like a "split". Double testicles on one or both sides can occur but are extremely rare.

: Testicle does not split in two. From your description you might have epididymitis. Wear a scrotal support, use local heat several times a day, take Ibuprofen. If not better then pl see a Urologist.

Wrong Question!: A better question is what is causing it! knowing the cause will lead to correcting the problem & there are many possible causes from hygiene/grooming (shaving,  soap or laundry detergent allergy), sexual behavior (could be an std), to activity (increased sport causing rubbing) etc. You may need to see your md or dermatologist to determine the cause and then get a solution.

Likely not serious: Achy, non-severe pain in testicle or spermatic cord is common at your age. Probably condition known as "blue balls" or "lovers' nuts". Often caused by erotic reactions without release. This symptom can occur with a varicocele, whih feels like a "bag of worms" in scrotum when standing &amp; goes when lying down. Severe, sudden onset testicular pains are ones which shouldn't be ignored.

No: Our bodies are quite redundant. In other words, we can get by w/one eye, one ear, one lung, one kidney, one testicle, etc (not that we'd want to do so). So loss of one testicle will not impact testosterone level or even sperm production. Therefore, physical growth won't be affected, nor sex drive, nor fertility.

sometimes my testicle rotates 180 degrees, there is no pain, it usually rotates back in a day or two ,this happens on a regular basis(there is no pain or discomfort). is this a cause for concern?

: If your testicle is rotating but not causing pain, the blood supply to the testicle is not being interrupted. The danger however, is if the rotationbecomes more extreme and cuts off the blood supply to the testicle. It may be necessary to see a urologist to make sure a procedure to keep the testicle from rotating is not necessary.

a few months back i noticed that my left testicle was swollen. a day or two later that swollen part "broke", and bled for the next few days. there was only pain when touching that part. all is ok now, but my left testicle is darker. is this normal?

: What you mean your testicle is in fact the scrotum. You cannot see the testicle, only feeling it. You probably had had a boil and it healed by itself. There is some dark (hyperpigmented) skin over that site and that's not unusual.

Confusing question: The testis normally descend into the scrotum  around the 28th week of pregnancy. There persence may be dificult to verify due to peroneal fat, or the presence of fluid in the sac like structure that surrounds them. I don't know what u mean by drop. If your 2yo's testis are not in the scrotum, u should see his dr.Undescended testis have reduced fertility & most like to bring them down by 1yo.

Urology: See a urologist and get an ultrasound done. An exam would be helpful as well.
