Spasms: These sound like muscle spasms related to chewing and swallowing. Is your speech affected?. Do you have other muscle cramps?  Deficiencies of calcium,magnesium, and certain electrolytes can be causes. If symptoms persist discuss this with your physician who can order appropriate tests.

It Depends: Since we do not know your ethnic background, it could be a number of issues.  If you are black, or of mediterrainin desent it might be normal pigmintation.  If you are fairer complected or caucasion it could indicate a number of problems especially with you being 18. You need to see a dentist to evaluate this and see whether is is just normal for you or something needing attention.

Have It Checked: Could be a small growth, probably benign, or possibly the result of trauma. See your pediatrician.

May have an ulcer: You may have a mild touch of stomatitis (cold sores, canker sore, mucosal irritation due to viral or even bacterial infection).  There are over the counter preparations that are good for these types of issues but before going there you'll want to either visualize it yourself or have someone verify it is an ulceration of some sort.

: Not really.  Toxoplasma infection acquired after birth is asymptomatic in most immunocompetent individuals, and its clinical course is usually benign and and self limited.
