See below: That would not be advised. Again, treating allergies adequately, depends upon the symptoms you are having. For congestion, you need a decongestant, such as Allegra d. Also, nasal steroid sprays are an another alternative.

Not effective: Taking both together is not likely to add any significant improvement in symptoms.  The question is cut off, but I'm guessing you are well controlled until you are exposed to certain household allergens. Maybe cat dander?  Would work with an allergist to develop an effective "as needed" strategy for such an exposure. Sometimes taking cetirizine beginning 2 days ahead of your visit is enough.

Yes: No expected benefit of combining Zyrtec and Claritin (there are situations that call for high dose antihistamine use, but generally with one or the other).  Both are safe when used in combination with Flonase.

Not the Standard: Hi,
Not really Zyrtec tablets and Claritin are usually once a day meds.  They are 2 different antihistamines.  Claritin does come in a 12 hour form. So you would take one in the am and one in the pm.
Certainly you could use both antihistamines but it is not usually the standard of care.
