Wash your face: SSharma - using a medication to help reduce the bumps is not a bad idea, but my suggestion is that you utilize soap that kills bacteria.  My suggestion is sold at pharmacies.  The soap is called Hibiclens.  Use it twice a day to kill the bacteria on your facial skin and that should reduce the bumps within a week to 10 days.

Use once daily: It is probably best to use these two products separately. Differen gel can cause sun sensitivity, so using it at night and Clindamycin in the morning is probably the best bet.

Depends on pt: Would use one am one pm(bed time) gently wash am and or bed time, if not better in 6-8 weeks return to your doc.

Don't wash it off: If not too much trouble, put make up over 'dry' clindamycin.

Clindamycin gel: Overuse if the gel can cause drying of the face . Stop the gel and apply moisturizers until your face is less dry and then reaply clindamycin
