Not sure...: ...that your question makes sense.  We all die from something and some even die in "perfect health." It is very unlikely that one has a serious illness without serious signs and symptoms.  I can think of a few exceptions to this rule such as critical stenosis of an artery supplying the heart or brain, but even they frequently provide some warning.

Depends: Patients with stage 4 lung cancer have a variety of symptoms, but as the disease progresses they become more tired, lose appetite and become progressively weak and become bedbound.  Once a patient becomes bed bound the end is nearing.

ESRD and Death: Most patients simply become very disoriented, sometimes agitated, and then they go to "sleep".  Many health professionals have commented to me that dying from renal failure is gentle and painless.  My grandfather simply went to sleep and never woke up and he appeared comfortable.

Leave it alone: Most of these little things in the pancreas are harmless. Just watch it. If it starts growing, it can be removed while it's still not a huge danger. Pancreatic surgery is grisly. Avoid it if you can.

Final stages...: In the final stages of copd, the patient cannot ventilate themselves at all and they cannot get enough oxygen into their body. They have severe shortness of breath and often get agitated because of this. They tend to have cyanosis, or a blue color to fingers, toes, lips, etc. There are medicines that can be used to make the patient as comfortable as possible but it is not a comfortable death.

Diversity!: Human beings are remarkably variable.  How the body is reacting to this new virus as relates to the formation of antibodies and factors which affect individual susceptibility has yet to be determined.  The ancients blamed acts of God, curses, and plain good and bad luck.  We may know some day.

Maldigestion: This is a serious condition that needs attention. Your pancreas is losing its ability to produce digestive enzymes and this leads to bad digestion, diarrhea and weight loss. It also causes diabetes due to lack of insulin production. You will need to see your doctor

Under Dr.'s care: Detoxification needs to be under close medical care.  Attempting to detox without adequate medical supervision could be dangerous and possibly deadly. If you know such a person encourage them to work with an addiction medical specialist and to get to some alcoholics anonymous meetings.

i took oxycodone 560-100 mg daily. detoxing 14 days now. cold turkey. what makes the symptoms more tolerable? i'm dying here!

Not wise to do: While it's admirable that you want to remove opiates from your body,  going cold turkey is never advised. Ideally, a slow wean over a few weeks, depending on how much your were on, along with some low dose Valium and/or catapres (clonidine) would allow you to feel better during the process.
