Rest: The only answer for that type of sprain or tear is time and rest for the muscle.  When the injury first occurs ice and laying at can help minimize the pain and swelling.

MTN Air: i get to work in Appalachia and I have heard that the mountain air can increase your appetite. What I am most concerned with however, is rickettsial disease caused by ticks.  Please do a thorough tick check behind ears soon hairline and if you find any make sure it is fully removed.
