: Hypertension contributes to ED. Lower your blood pressure and your problem should improve.

agent orange: Exposure to agent orange can cause a whole host of problems.  I don't see how someone who was exposed in the 1960's could possibly endanger someone else now.

Accepted Answer

Agent Orange: No. The Agent Orange (a herbicide/dioxin) could theoretically cause genetic damage in humans. However, there is no specific  'test' as such that ties a given genetic abnormality to your father's exposure.

Not clear cause: Agent orange was toxic stuff, but bone deterioration is, to my knowledge, not on the list of links. Many of the diseases associated with ao, such as diabetes and heart disease,  are so common in vietnam vets that it is hard to make a link.  See your doctor about your bones and get treatment.

in lung?

Possible/see Dr.: He might get cancer in the lung or anywhere else from this or other agents, especially if he inhaled it.  However, if there are no clear symptoms, like cough and fatigue and difficulty getting enough breath, or signs, like a nodule on x ray, it is very hard to say he has this.  The best course of action would be for him to see his doctor to discuss this and decide upon the best follow up.

i had agent orange exposure in vietnam im sill have cyst to form on my buttocks and my skin has darkened and i still get black heads that form and itchy skin and many areas of my body can you recommend some treatments for it?

Good question: The long-term health effects of the herbicide agent orange are not well-studied or confirmed, but may include certain cancers, including prostate cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, and non-hodgkin’s lymphoma. Although there is no likely association with thyroid nodules and cancer, one study yielded preliminary findings suggestive of a three-fold increased risk of graves' disease.
