Right sided pain: Most important point is you need to seek help and be examined. We would need to know, especially given your age , many things such as your social habits drinking , smoking , eating ; family history. The location you're speaking of is the location of your liver.

costochondritis: Costochondritis is an inflammation of the junctions where the upper ribs join with the cartilage that holds them to the breastbone, or sternum. The condition causes localized chest pain that you can reproduce by pushing on the cartilage in the front of your ribcage. Costochondritis is a relatively harmless condition and usually goes away without treatment. The cause is usually unknown.

Hard to say: There are a lot of natural muscle insertion points in the area that you describe. This may be what your are feeling. However, if this "swelling" has increased or if it is painful or red, then you might want to get it evaluated. Also, is this related to any injury to the back?

No as liver is on Rt: Side of the body. Your history of fibromyalgia is more likely to be the cause of it.

Get X-ray : Not many organs in that area besides the liver but I would start by getting an X-ray to make sure you don't have a rib fracture

These  may not  be: These may not be related. You need to see your physician and not go to the hospital. It will save  a lot of money staying out of the ER. Your evaluation will be to see if the two are related, may incude imaging including a chest  film and possibly a CT or  MRI

See a doctor: Could be many things including that the reason for the cough is not in the lungs but in the abdomen which is leading to swelling. The spleen is located in this area and could swell with certain infection or other conditions. Best to be seen in person.
