Yes: Inflammation or infection in an extremity can certainly lead to swelling of the lymph nodes draining that arm or leg.  The nodes should recede as the infection resolves.  Consult your doctor for persistent node swelling, especially if it is non-tender.  Good luck with the eczema

Need to be checked: Swollen lymph nodes have many causes. Most of them are not related to cancer in your age group. The quickest way to find out what is causing the swelling is to see your doctor.

Do not worry: If the gland has decreased in size, it is not a tumor. It may have gotten scarred from inflammation and that may be the reason you can feel it.

: Swollen lymph nodes are just one manifestation of lymphadenopathy. Lymphadenopathy or adenopathy is a disease of the lymph nodes, in which they are abnormal in size or consistency.

i've had a swollen lympnode under my armpit for 2.5 months. bloodwork came back normal and doctor told me it's nothing. it's slowly getting larger and it's not becoming slightly painful and i can feel pain going down my bicep as a result?

: Consult a general surgeon for an opinion about an excisional biopsy. This should give you peace of mind instead of having this node checked periodically.

Not related: Soft tissue sarcoma do not metastasis via lymphatics except in very rare situations. Thus these lymphatics are not related to the sarcoma you have. I advise you have them checked by your pcp. Good luck.

Common : From the size &amp; location it suggests you had a skin infection, bite or other trigger for lymph node activation within the area served by those nodes. In this case the leg or skin nearby in the groin. It does not suggest cancer.

had unprotected sex about 6 wks ago,been having on and off sore throat, which isnt so bad and a small swollen lympnode behind my ear, coud this be hiv?

Other possibilities: Besides HIV there are other std's you could get from having unprotected sex.  Or you could have another infection causing your symptoms. Get checked.  Don't have sex until you know you are disease-free. Use protection from now on. too.

i have been diagnosed with bilateral inguinal lymphadenopathy. but my inguinal lymph nodes do not hurt at all? does this diagnosis sound right?

Need work-up: Bilateral inguinal lymphadenopathies-mean-you have lymph nodes enlargement that are located on both groins area. Now, it is not a diagnosis-it is just a sign/clinical finding. Diagnosis still has to be made. There are different things that can cause above finding- inflammation, autoimmune problem, infection, malignancy etc. Please go to see your md for eval- ie-blood work, imaging, biopsy etc.
