Not to worry: As long as you are not overheating and are staying well hydrated I don't think you need to worry about whether you are sweating from one side of your body or the other. Best wishes.

It's not completely : we would think of mechanical reasons, neurologic reasons, to help explain some of your symptoms. But before I would even suggest those diagnoses I would have you talk to your physician about having you get a neurologic evaluation to help clear up exactly the reason for your symptoms

Unsure: Most of our bodies are not always symmetrical, so probably, there are more sweat glands on one side vs the other.

Harlequin syndrome: Changes in a person's normal pattern of sweating can have many causes: medications, &amp; hormonal imbalance, etc., which are easily treatable. Sweating on one half of the body can also be a symptoms of Harlequin syndrome,  arachnoiditis and other disorders of the nervous system.  These are rarer and may be more serious.  Please see a doctor as soon as possible to determine the cause in your case,

Yes: Night sweats can be a side effect of antidepressants commonly referred to as SNRIs such as Effexor, Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) or Cymbalta.  However, other antidepressants can also cause this.
If you are having this side effect, please tell your doctor so that you can find a solution or another medication which may work better for you.

In your situation there are too many possible things going on for anyone here to provide meaningful advice other than your symptoms warrant careful evaluation by a good (ideally holistic) doc. You might have an infection like lyme disease/babesiosis, a neurological disorder, food allergies, heavy metal or other poisoning, B12 deficiency, anxiety disorder etc.

Accepted Answer

No: MJ remains at least one month and maybe longer as it is sotred in the fat.  Sweating does not accelerate metabolism in my opinion.  However, you can gues that this is not well studied.

i took one dose of tamiflu and side effects are horrible.  irregular heartbeat, sweats, lips feel swollen but are not, edgy hb races when i stand up. ?

Recommendation : Some people can not tolerate Tamiflu. You are one of them. Please, never try it again. Any flu required a lot of fluids, and many  OTC medication can be helpful. I always tell my patient about this terrible side effect of Tamiflu when prescribing this medicine.
