i am 41kg and suffering from severe food allergy anxiety, although no clear allergies beyond kiwi, watermelon and sulpha-meds. my mind is my enemy. what are the odds to really have an anaphylaxis at 40+ out of the blue to justify this fear of eating?

A little time: Atbcs take a few days to provide noticeable clearing of symptoms.  When the lab tests the mucus, the labs tests what atbc the bacteria is susceptible to.  Likely your physician saw the susceptibility report and rx Omnicef (cefdinir) based on that report.  Perhaps give the treatment a few more days.

i was on bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) (sulpha drug/antibiotic) for mrsa on my left hand. i had allergic reaction, stopped drug but now right fingertips are numb!?

What you can do is anticipate the reaction and begin the antihistamine that gives you the best protection without making you drowsy weeks before the season you have trouble with begins. It is easier to block the response in the first place than to treat it after it has begun. Experiment with meds.
