It's just soap: The only thing soap does (whatever kind) is help get rid of dirt and oils.  If you want skin anti-aging, best bet is to protect from sun, don't smoke, eat healthy foods, and get plenty of rest and hydration.

No: Sulfur soap is used for acne. It sloughs old skin and has a drying effect.  The vaginal tissues are far too delicate that . You do not need to scrub out the vagina.

: Yes, the Sulfur can cause the irritation and itching.
Apply a weak Cortisone ointment, not cream, sparingly 2-3 times daily.Rub in gently and completely

: Stop using it right away and use Benadryl lotion on the itchy skin and cortisone cream in the vagina. Hope you feel better

Yes OTC: For patients with seborrheic dermatitis of the face, we suggest treatment with a low potency topical corticosteroid cream, a topical antifungal agent, or a combination of the two.

is sulfur soap good to treat and prevent reoccurrence of tinea versicolor ? and is there a faster way to rid the white spots on skin .. thank you !

No: Tinea should be treated with selenium shampoo (high concentration selsun blue may work, but often it requires prescription strength) or topical antifungals like ketoconazole.  The white spots are areas of depigmentation; you just need to wait for the pigment to grow back, which can take months.

There : There is an over the counter treatment called elimite (permethrin). I believe it is inexpensive. Also remember to wash your sheets/bedding in very hot water, and all affected family member's need to be treated. If the treatments do not work go to the free clinic for an evaluation.

: You need a moisturizer that can be bought OTC. Cetaphil works for me when I itch. If no result, consult your urologist.

No: Avoid ingredients you may be allergic to.  Consider moisturizers, aveeno (oatmeal) bath oil and witch hazel to manage the itch until you see a doctor.
