The body absorbs it.: An effective treatment for active that works as a topical antibacterial agent. Any topical ointment can be absobed and create a systemic response. The vast majority of times it is without incident. On rare occasion an inflammatory cascade (swelling) can be triggered mimicking an injury/insult to the joint tissue. If this occurs, contact your doctor, wash the skin surface and ice the affected joint.

Of course: Aching/swollen joints, rash on nose and cheeks, signs of infection (such as fever, persistent sore throat), signs of anemia (such as unusual tiredness/weakness, rapid breathing, fast heartbeat), unusual bleeding/bruising, signs of liver problems (such as dark urine, yellowing eyes/skin, stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea, vomiting), mouth sores.
