Damaged nerves: Her vaginal wall was damaged and so were the fines nerve supply. Reconstruction does not connect up these nerves. Only time will tell if sensation comes back in part. Keep in mind it may never come back.

Not nerve damage: Antidepressants do not cause nerve damage or loss of sensation in the vagina.  However, ssri antidepressants can cause difficulty with sexual desire and also with ability to climax.  These are more central brain effects, rather than directly on vaginal sensory  nerves. Effects depression can interfere with sexual interest and desire also.  Hopefully this improves with treatment.

Possibly: Any disruption of the nerves can cause changed sensation.  The sensory nerves of the genitals pass through the lower back (lumbar and sacral) and may be affected.  It may be the the back damage that lead to your back surgery is the cause of your problem.  If the surgery is recent, you may have some improvement in time .  Nerves heal very slowly, so patience is important.

May be: hormonal effect. to tighten the PC muscles and vaginal floor, I suggest Kegel exercises.

Poss yeast infection: Vaginal itching that is worse during intercourse is a classic symptom of a yeast or candida infection, especially if your recent urinary tract infection was treated with antibiotics.  Most vaginal yeast infections will respond to over the counter remedies, but you should see your doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Vaginitis: If you are having itching this is likely a vaginal yeast infection.  You should be able to resolve this by an OTC anti-fungal. If you take probiotic or yogurt that can often prevent further problems.
