Nausea: Without any detail, it is impossible to pinpoint the cause.  If it is new onset nausea, just cut back your diet to liquids for a few days. You could consider an anti-acid medication for a few days to see if it helps.  If the nausea lasts longer than a week or so, you need to be seen to determine the source. Good luck.

Need evaluation: Nausea & "rumbling" can be caused by lots of things & may originate from disease outside the GI tract. Further evaluation is in order before anyone can answer "what to do."  your doctor will want to re-examine you as well as know the quality, timing, duration, location, & associations (eating, position, activity, stooling, urinating) of your symptoms to better direct the next appropriate testing.

Something to C MD: Pregnant?  Other causes and symptoms - headache, visual, hearing, balance issues; abdominal complaints? Could be lots of GI causes, including infectious (if short term) ulcers, poor stomach emptying, tumors, cancer, pancreatic problems, less likely gallbladder/biliary problems, liver, or colon issues.  Couid also be metabolic or hormonal problems.  See your doc asap.

Improve nausea: Nausea is a sign that something is irritating the stomach.  This can come from sinus drainage, medications, food, gastritis, maldigestion, slow stomach emptying, pressure from other organs around the stomach, gall bladder issues, and pregnancy.  See your physician to help figure it out but keep track of your eating habits, anything that helps it or worsens it.

?location: If the discofort is in the upper abdomen with radiation to the back, then possibilities include inflammation of the stomach lining(gastritis), peptic ulcer, inflamed pancreas , gall stones and less likely  would be bile duct stones or hepatitis. See your md if symptoms persist. Until then follow a bland, low fat diet and take mylanta after meals and at bedtime.
