I'm sure your docs: Are doing everything they can but don't hesitate to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion.  Sometimes another set of eyes helps.  Also, consider food sensitivities.  Great plains lab in ks has a good test for this.  Peace and good health.

Irritable Bowel: There is no magic bullet better than GI specialists for stomach pain and wt loss.  I suspect they probably mentioned that you likely have irritable bowel syndrome or may have recommended additional testing.  Listen to them.

Abd pain is seroius: Depends where the pain is. Right lower abdomen could indicate an acute appendicitis.lower abdominal pain could be a urinary tract infection. ConstipAtion often causes pain . Or it may be an irritable bowel syndrome.peptic ulcers cause epigastric pain.

Doctor can evaluate: A person with such stomach aches can make a diary, writing down symptoms on a calendar. Include descriptions of the symptoms, when they occur, how long they last, what makes them better, what worsens them, any relation to foods or meds, any relation to activities, etc... He can take the diary to his doctor. Gastric reflux, acidity, pancreatitis, gallstones, tumors, infections, etc. may be a cause.

See a DOC: Anorexia (loss of appetite), weight loss and stomach pain is a serious issue. You should at least evaluated by your FP/internist soon and possible. Based on your age, duration of symptoms &amp; risk factors you may eventually need a GI specialist evaluation for endoscopy &amp; colonoscopy

i have had stomach  pain at night for the last three nights.  i wake up in great pain on my right side.  i take pepto bismal and this seems to help .?

Gallbladder?: If this is in the right upper abdominal area (plus minus fevers & chills) and after eating greasy/oily foods for dinner, this may be gallbladder disease. You should see your physician. In the meantime stay away from fried, oily, greasy foods.  (there are of course other possibilities...Either way a visit to your physician is in order).

can the antibiotic clindamycin cause middle stomach pain im on 300mg three times a day with moderate stomach pain?

Abdominal pain : Most antibiotics cause some gastrointestinal symptoms. Nausea and abdominal pain are not rare. See if you can complete the antibiotic course otherwise ask your doctor if other antibiotics can be substituted. You didn't mention why you are on clindamycin?
