Coat stomach: Gastritis is common with many antibiotics, 
ask your dr. If its ok to eat or have a glass of milk before the particular antibiotic you are taking.  Taking on an empty stomach is difficult for many people.

That depends..: ....On how inflamed the reproductive tract was before treatment began, and whether she's taking her medicines as prescribed.   The worse it was, the longer it will take.  It might take several weeks to resolve completely.

Levaquin (levofloxacin): Abdominal pain can occur with Levaquin (levofloxacin). Be sure to notify prescriber of  side effects especially if there is severe abdominal pain.

Possible reaction: to the antibiotics.  Some antibiotics are more upsetting to the stomach than others.  The macrolide antibiotics can sometimes cause stomach pain (erythromycin, azithrmycin, clarithromycin) and the tetracycline family is also notorious for stomach pain (doxycycline, minocycline).  If you are having bad diarrhea, you should also be screened for C. difficile.  On the other hand it could be unrelated!

i have stomach pain n discomfort after eating and can feel something sticking out under the left ribcage... this subsides after digestion. but i can still feel something protubing in that area. pain in the chest started after taking antibiotics?

? Gastritis: Can be a side effect of some antibiotics, antacids/PPIs OTC can help, read the labels carefully and don't exceed recommended dosage and duration, drink more plain water, if no improvement see your doctor for assessment, best wishes

can the antibiotic clindamycin cause middle stomach pain im on 300mg three times a day with moderate stomach pain?

Abdominal pain : Most antibiotics cause some gastrointestinal symptoms. Nausea and abdominal pain are not rare. See if you can complete the antibiotic course otherwise ask your doctor if other antibiotics can be substituted. You didn't mention why you are on clindamycin?

i have 2 pills left of my anitbiotic for a root canal.  having bad lower stomach pain. i believe now from antibiotic.  is advil ok for stomach pain?

Stomach pain: May be side effect of antibiotic, but do't stop taking unless your Dentist or specialist Endodontists says it's OK to quit early.  Advil can cause stomach irritation.  This is one of the few times when Tylenol may be a better alternative.  Also consider yogurt to reestablish normal gut flora.

Yes: But if you have severe back pain, persistent fevers , nausea and vomiting  see your doc it could be kidney infection.

21 yr. old still having really bad stomach pain after finishin antibiotic monday for uti.probiotics seem to make it worse instead of helpin.what could?

See below: Could be a number of issues: returned or resistant uti, stomach issues related to change in gut flora due to antibiotics, or even probiotics still getting into the equilibrium stage.  The gut can take 3 weeks to recover after any issue that changes the flora.  See your doc for a recheck.
