ABDOMINAL PAIN: And distention have to be evaluated for intestinal obstruction especially if with vomiting, Famotidine  only helps the hyperacidity. Pls. See md.

Immediate attention: Though i assume you are not a trained medical professional, the symptoms and findings you describe would lead one to believe that a serious problem is perhaps at hand and i would urge you to seem urgent/emergent medical care and attention.  Appendicits comes to hand though there could be many other diagnoses and may infact even not be anything sifnificant.  Get checked.

my daughter has had diareeha for the past 3 day, today she seemed fine all day, then at lunchtime started complaining that her stomach hurt.  now she vomited her dinner from last night.  she has not had any fever ?

Stomach bug: We don't always mount a fever when we get sick,don't let that throw you.If she's acting 'ok',just encourage small sips of clear fluids (water, electrolyte replacement drink) to keep her hydrated,don't worry about food right now.If she continues to vomit even with small sips then get her checked out to make sure that she isn't getting dehydrated.Tomorrow if she's not vomiting you can add BRAT food

after being placed on her back to sleep, our 4.5 month old daughter has just started to turn onto her stomach and her side she can only roll comfortably onto her stomach and has only rolled onto her back a few times. what should we do?

: I always put them down on their back for the first year. Yet I don't fight them when they begin to roll over.The definition for crib death encompasses the first year, but by the time they start rolling the risk has dropped off considerably.Don't spend your nights re-positioning her , just accept that you did what you could to keep her as safe as possible.

See her doctor : Let her stomach rest for at least 2 hours from the last time she vomited with nothing to eat or drink. Then start with small sips of juice or pedialyte or licks of a popsicle. Make sure she has had a bowel movement &amp; doesn’t have a fever. If not improving or if she’s worsening, please see her doctor.

Infectious diarrhea: Sounds like infectious in origin. Viral ( rota) is most common in this age group but with new vaccines against rota virus- is becoming less common. Other causes like bacteria ( shigella, salmonella, amoeba) etc  need to be investigated. See your pediatrician. Keep her well hydrated with pedialyte.

Irritated esophagus: The frequent vomiting likely caused a significant irritation from stomach acid in the lower end of the esophagus. Avoiding acidic  or caffeine containing drinks & taking a Tums (calcium carbonate) may give temporary relief. A visit to confirm the process is a good idea.
