STD/STI?: Urinary tract infections, whether bladder or kidney, are typically associated w/painful, frequent & urgent urination, often accompanied by abdominal (belly) pain below belly button and above pelvic bone. Sexually transmitted diseases/infections can also cause similar sensations. Best to go see your doc for an evaluation & treatment.

Up to a week: Go see your doctor if going on for more than a week.  Sooner if symptoms worsen.  Most colds resolve in a few days to a week.  I'm assuming the abd pain is from coughing, but have that checked out if it worsens or doesn't get immediately worse with cough for a second (as the abd muscles contract with cough or sneeze).
