Erectile dysfunction: If your guy can get erect (hard) enough to put on a condom but goes limp before intercourse, he still has erectile dysfunction but more likely related to performance anxiety. Make him go see his Family Doc for evaluation. Viagra (sildenafil) &amp; its competitors might help if that's all it is. If not enough, we worry about venous leak which can be fixed by wearing cock ring to keep blood from leaking out.

Gently.: Gently cleanse the skin around the stoma when you change the pouch. There are special skin cleansers and also adhesive removers for this use. The mucosa, which is  the pink part, does not need to be cleansed; it cleanses itself, and rubbing it will just cause bleeding and irritation. Appliances can be rinsed out at the sink. An enterostomal specialist can help!

Not always: The success of a stoma reversal depends on many factors including the original reason for the stoma, the overall condition of the patient and the amount of bowel remaining.  Often a temporary stoma is constructed for diverticulitis.  In this situation, reversal is often successful assuming a healthy remaining rectum.  Each case should be looked at individually for the pros and cons of reversal.

Yes: Vasoline is a good lubricant. Many people prefer water soluble lubricants rather than vasoline based as they [water based] are less greasy and clean up much more easily.
