Please discard: Please discard your expired products.  Studies are only done to ensure safety and potency for the period of time guaranteed by the expiration date.  After a product expires, we don’t know what it will do.  Best to discard the expired product and replace it with something new.  Good luck!

You left out: My favorite: roll on gels. These products are chosen for their pleasant aroma, and you pick what you like. There is not clear "top choice" in my estimate.

i use to be a drug addict and when i was high i smelled really bad , and even though im clean now i still have bad odor i bye deodorants but dont work .. but also im always thinking i smell .. so can it be a mentally thing or physical??

Smell: Get yourself evaluated by a good ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) doctor to rule out any physiological abnormalities.

Deodorant and: soap can both cause itching.  Antipersperant even more likely do do so.  Do you eat things w/strong odors such as garlic and onions?  Do you take a greens powder mix?  All of the above can cause odor.  Gold Bond powder can be useful.  Please see doc to make sure it is nothing else.  Peace and good health.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Some people react to deodorant as an irritant and others may be allergic to the contents of the deodorant stick. In either case body may react against the chemicals and that may result in local lymph gland enlargement.

Probably not: Babies in utero are most sensitive to environmental toxins during the first trimester when the organs are developing.  Continue your weekly prenatal visits with your provider at this paint to insure your developing baby remains healthy.

my husband got a really bad rash under his armpits from using old spice deodarant, what should he do? he used the deodarant stick and also the body spray and his rash resembles burns and is very sore and painful.

It : It is possible that this is a contact dermatitis due to allergy from a substance such as fragrance or preservative in the deodorant.  I would avoid that deodorant and consider using a mild topical Hydrocortisone cream in the area.  If not improved in a few days, consider visiting a dermatologist for diagnosis and to discuss treatment options and possible skin allergy testing.  I hope that helps.

Yes: While you can do so, some products contain ingredients which can be irritating to sensitive areas, such as genital skin.  Allergic reactions can also occur.
