PMD and JHS: A twenties female with unexplained &quot;butt&quot; pain (sciatica) ; &quot;painful cycles&quot; (premenstral disorder, pmd) might have loose pelvic girdle joints, which become even more loose as the hormone relaxin is secreted during each menses. These symptoms are magnified in women with joint hypermobility syndrome (jhs), who have similar intensities of painful sciatica ;  pelvic-back pain during pregnancy.

Further testing: A couple additional you that evaluations may be helpful. Gardenella may be a local infection with these symptoms  but would not have a problem with hair loss. Certain medications can lead to hair loss specifically elmiron, (pentosan) often used to treat interstitial cystitis which manifests as pelvic pain in association with frequency and urgency. A culture of the discharge would be prudent but most likely has already been done.

Yes, they may: Although, they may work for you, i'd recommend to rule out other possible causes of hair loss such as thyroid disease and/or anemia. If there is none of those, and you exhibit male baldness pattern, you may try rogaine (minoxidil). I'd not go for Minoxidil (oral) as it does have a higher incidence of side effects.

Wouldn't help: It's not that it would interfere, it's that it wouldn't help! also, you don't know what's in the product you take, since it's not checked or inspected. Further, all "supplements" can have adverse side effects. Don't get your medical education from tv or the internet.

Could be months: Your hair is not lost, just breaking off. It should grow out normally, but may take several months since hair grows intermittently not continuously. Give it time, and avoid chemical treatments. Continue the iron to build your blood count back toward normal.

im hoping you can help. ive gone on medication called finpecia. its 1mg if finestride. this is purely to stop/slow down hair loss.

the side effects have been quite real. mostly sexual drive. should i be worried about fertility?

Male hair loss ?'s: The ingredient in Finpecia (finisteride) is known to produce decrease in sex drive, erectile dysfunction, and decreased ejaculation, which may persist for months after cessation of use.  It is not so far connected to infertility.

my husband says it looks like ringworm, but im not having hair loss my skin isnt darkening. plus other people have touched me they dont have these red circles. its just there they dont hurt and they dont peel i just have red circles on my body.

Requires exam: Ringworm is a lay term for fungal infection of various skin surfaces. It is not easily passed person to person but can be. It's appearance can be mimicked by several other skin conditions. An exam would be required to sort this out.
