If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Repeat test: If you did the test correctly and it was negative at 7 days after missed period, you are unlikely to be pregnant. repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

i did the preg test 6 times. all negative. i did the last 3 after 22 days of sex. i'm also getting period stomach pain today. can i be preg?

No, not if...: 3 negative pregnancy tests, done correctly, means there is no pregnancy (because it has been 22 days since the last episode of sex... and a pregnancy would cause a positive urine pregnancy by now. If worrisome symptoms occur, or if next month's normal period does not happen, one can see her Ob-Gyn doctor or her primary care doctor.

Menstrual Cramps: Take Naproxen 375 mg twice daily  for 3 days from d-1 of your period. You can try other nsaids like ibuprofen/advil/motrin etc. If this doesn't help, talk to your gynecologist.

took plan b aug 31 & now i have lower stomach pain (like cramps) 3 days after.should i be worried or is that just a symptom?  period expected sep 28

Likely a symptom: That can definitely be the hormone in Plan B having an effect on the uterine lining.  Depending on where women are in their cycle when they take plan b, sometimes it can provoke a small bleed.  Make sure you use protection for any other intercourse as Plan B only covers you for around 72 hours after unprotected sex.  See doctor maybe for more reliable form of birth control?  Good luck!

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
