Tinea Pedis: It sounds like a tinea pedis or athletes foot. Fungus can be very resistant to medication. Put lotrimin (clotrimazole) AF cream as well as hydrocortisone cream 15 three times a day for a week. Also, dry feet and toes carefully, then apply gold bond powder into your socks immediately after bathing or swimming. Good luck.

i get a skin split under my toes often. it goes from one foot to the other. i have tried anti-fungus   which didn't help. what can i do to stop it. ?

Split skin: on toes tends to be a problem with going barefoot.  The skin gets very dry and cracks.  It can also happen with feet that sweat a lot.  With the wet dry cycle the skin gets macerated and then cracks.  It is important to keep your feet clean and dry.  Wear a different pair of shoes daily, alternating at least two. Powders may help, don't go barefoot often if that is the problem.

i think i have athletes foot because everytime i dance my pinky toe skin splits under it. how do i treat this?

Need medication: Use over the counter gel or drops. Do not use creams as this makes it worse.
Do this everyday and every time before and after you dance. Also go to a podiatrist to make sure you have athletes foot and that the split is not from pressure from dancing.

Virginal/ruff contac: Skin will comfortably callous over time; too quick will cause additive tears. Cocoanut oil several times a day +slow down.
If this fails after 5 to 8 days, a thorough dermatological exam is a must. From nutrition to exotic infections & syndromes must be considered as well as as a herald of a more general malady. 
   Pls. Don't wait.

i have small holes surrounded by white skin on soles of feet, only noticeable after they are wet. when dry they are barely visible. no odor is present. the closest condition i can find that is similar is pitted keratosis, but it doesn't look the same?

: I agree that pitted keratolysis best fits your description &amp; it's mentioned that wet feet do show these pits best. A podiatrist would be best to consult for diagnosis, advice &amp; treatment if you still have concerns.

Was the wire from : A surgery or was this a foreign body that was in your foot? If the latter, i hope you were seeing a doctor.....Did you have a tetanus shot? Any signs of infection?
