Tell your doctor you're having them, and follow over the month.  If any lumps become hard and do not go away, you'll need to have it examined especially.  Try avoiding caffeine, sugar and unhealthy fats.  Evening primrose oil may help; heating pad too.

If they cause symptoms or change colors, bleed, bruise or hurt, then see your doctor.

Closed spina bifida is when there is an opening in the spinal column but it has a thin cover.
