See a urologist: The first step is to see a Urologist to be sure you do not have a physical problem....then evaluation of your hormonal levels (testicular/pituitary glands)

The condition is probably very TREATABLE!!!!

See details: How often do you masturbate? Frequent masturbation will lower the volume. The volume should return to normal if you abstain for a couple of days.

Accepted Answer

Yes in some instance: Are you talking about low volume as in total cc of ejaculate or low numbers of sperm? The normal ejaculate is 1-5 cc and if very low can effect fertility. The normal sperm numbers we like to see is 20 million per cc of ejaculate and lower numbers  might effect fertility. Also there are other parameters on a semenanslysis  that are important. I recommend you get a formal semenNalysis

Don't worry: Semen volume doesn't necessarily mean low sperm count but more often reflects how often you ejaculate and whether you are dehydrated.  Don't worry about it.

Who knows?: Known to many, some 10-15 % of couples can not get pregnancy under unprotected sex, and in 50% of couples, the problems come from females; 30 %, from males; and 20%, from both males and females.

Semen volume may vary and is usually about 1.4-4.5 cc. As far as the quality of semen is concerned, the sperm count, maturity, and forward motility are the major significant factors for fertility.

Most heal: The testis are resilient and you are blessed with two.(only need one)trauma can produce injury but most is tolerated and does not effect later performance. Significant injury would result in shrinkage /atrophy which would be noticeable on self exam by comparing one to the other.

Not really: A healthy male will produce just what his body is to produce. Unless you have some hormonal or genetic problem or other issue, there isn't anything specific to prescribe. The testis, prostate, seminal vessicles and other glands produce a cerain amount at a certain rate. If you have poor nutrition, a multivitamin/mineral may help. Stay hydrated, stay healthy and cut back frequency of sex.

Well, just wait ; ..: Who knows? Just wait, see , and repeat hpt in 1- 2 weeks. If in doubt, see doc timely. But, remember: females are responsible for some 50% of infertility; males, 30%; males and females, for 20%.

Probably OK: Volume a little low, but count OK. The wbc’s bother me a little. You may have a lo grade prostate infection which would not make you sick but could interfere with your fertility. Check with a urologist that does fertility work.
