Not very likely: soy milk doesn't have a lot of chemicals/hormones/interactions with medications. Still, you might want to avoid having a dairy product in the stomach at the same time as a medication. OCP's absorb well, so this isn't very important as an interaction, but other meds such as tetracycline bind to dairy and don't get in.

No: None of the items that you mentioned can affect the efficacy of birth control pills.  The only antibiotic that can affect is Rifampin.  There are a lot of wive's tales out there.... so beware.  Most important is to take the birth control pill at the same time and not to miss a day.

Volume: Soy products have phytoestrogens that can mimic the estrogen in your birth control pills. As long as you do not eat large volumes of soy prducts this should not be a problem.  Make sure you evaluate other food items you eat for their estogen content, such as yams, licorice, and black cohosh.

: Soy protein is part of the diet in many parts of the world.  It is not a red flag for interfering with oral contraceptives.

Naturally is iffy: Some soy products can increase estrogen but there is no clear way to determine which ones increase it and by how much.  Too much can be bad too.Dairy is of no benefit.  Much wiser to see doc and check levels and then decide on a treatment that works in a predictable, well-studied way.

i am aware fennel mimics estrogen and can affect birth control and worsen fibroids. but, at what dose? and does soy and dandelion have an impact, and in what quantity/dose?

: You'd probably have to eat 10-20 whole fennel plants to have any such effect. Dandelion has no known effect.  Don't worry about it.
