No: I am not aware of any studies showing a benefit to your teeth from chewing gum with sorbitol.  However there are numerous studies that show benefits to your teeth from chewing gum with xylitol.

Should: Sorbitol is a much better alternative to many other gums.  Less problematic for your teeth and gum in general can help remove plaque...Not to replace brushing and flossing though.

Yes: Arm pain may occur due to gas in the stomach and intestine. As you probably know by now, you need to avoid sorbitol.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

Sorbitol: Sorbitol is found in fruits and also is added to gum.
It is a simple and safe product even if you have diabetes.

That said, if you do have diabetes and take sorbitol there might be a slight increase in your blood sugar. You should be able to take care of that.

Note: If you really want to chew gum try sugar free gum!

Yes: Although you may have gastric problems with sorbitol or other synthetic sugars, I am not sure you are allergic. Many people have gas and diarrhea with these sugars.  If i remember big red has only natural sugars.

Sugar free better: It is better to use sugar free gum to reduce the risk of tooth decay.

No: Some will accelerate the GI tract motility causing diarrhea, but most sugar-alcohols are great  diabetic substitute sweetener.  They are less sweet than sugar, and artificial sweeteners are much sweeter. They do stimulate insulin, but less than glucose.

Sorbitol is sweet: I am not sure what the question is but sorbitol is an artifical sweetener. It would not be helpful in whitening your teeth, just making the toothpaste taste better. Most whitening toothpastes use an abrasive to whiten teeth.
