sometimes i get headaches from eating lamb but i love lamb. why is this?

It's a food allergy!: One to one connection with eating lamb and headaches is like eating strawberries and getting itchy swollen lips and tongue, even when you love strawberries. Shell fish, especially shrimp is another perfect example of food allergy. Perhaps the most common food allergy is peanuts specifically, and nuts generally.

i have hepatitis b since birth but i have little to no symptoms. i'd love a prescription of drugs i can get in nigeria because my parents can't afford a good hospital and i also have chest pains from time to time and a constant headache lately?

i am getting hungry constantly, even after eating. i have hunger pans at night to that i sometimes have to satisfy. blood sugar levels and all other blood tests were fine during annual physical (3/17/21). sometimes i get headaches when hungry?

: Diabetes or thyroid disorder would be concerns but apparently you tested ok with regard to these. Stress,pregnancy,inadequate sleep are other possibilities. Discuss this further with your physician. If anxiety is the cause, consider stress management therapy.

why do i always get a headache if i don't eat at all or if i don't eat again within 5 hours of eating?

Blood sugar?: The simple answer is hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). The more complex answer is to take a complete history and physical of your pre-prandial headache. Dehydration is another cause of a headache. Without a complete h & p it is impossible to tell why.

You MAY have a: food sensitivity or allergy to something you are eating.  Great Plains Lab in Kansas has as good food sensitivity panel.  You can read up on it on their website.  Your doc can do some lab testing also.  Peace and good health.

Yes.: I have a few patients who report getting headaches when they consume sugar...But it could be some kind of dye in the food or drink that you are consuming.

why do i get headache after eating something sweet?

Accepted Answer

Many things.: There is a long list of things that can trigger migraines or headaches. Maybe is not the "sweet" but something else causing it . Substances hidden in certain foods may trigger them. Sulfites in certain wine, also chocolates, some fruits like straberries, bananas, meat, cheese may trigger it.

i get what seems to be hunger headaches if i go too long without eating but whenever i check my glucose its not considered in a low range. is it possible to have symptoms of hypoglycemia without the numbers being too low?

: You certainly can have symptoms without having the blood glucose be low.  You may try having a snack or small bottle of juice handy.

why do i get heartburn and a headache after eating sugar?

Sucrose intolerance: Sounds like you are deficient in enzyme sucrase; hence the symptoms. Consult with a GI specialist.
