It works well: Baby acne is a transient process that lasts for weeks to months & seems to stabilize with mild soaps like dove. A mild 1/2% cortisone cream no more than once daily can calm down the most irritated areas.

Read the labels: Soaps or body washes that have no color, no fragrance and are specifically made for sensitive skin are your best choices.  Other options to help prevent yeast infections are using cotton, or cotton lined, underwear.

Sensitive skin: Another good soap is is Neutrogena it tends to be mild.

Acne: Dove soap will not make your face break out. If you have the tendency for acne washing with dove will not prevent your face from breaking out.  Acne is not due to dirty skin.  It is due in part to bacterial inflammation of blocked sebaceous gland ducts. See your doctor or dermatologist to prevent acne so that you are not left with scars.

i used a bar soap at a friends house that landed up making my genital area super itchy. i thought it was an allergy as i have hypo-sensitive skin but now sores have formed and progressively getting worse. what would it be and how do i get rid of it?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. However, it is unlikely that bar soap allergy would selectively affect the genitals. You may have a sexually transmitted infection and it would be prudent to see a doctor for an evaluation.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Any Brand is Good: It does not matter you can use any brand and if it does not get better than consult your doctor as you may need a topical antibiotic and/or Systemic Antibiotics

Depends: You should try to eliminate what he is "sensitive" to in his environment first. He may be sensitive to laundry detergents, colognes, animal dander, pollens, mold, or even foods. Try changing all soap products to hypoallergenic like neutrogena products for example or ivory snow / dreft laundry detergent and see if this helps. Try acne products, Cortaid (hydrocortisone) and have your boyfriend keep skin clean also.

Itch scratch cycle..: Common things being common, it is possible that you have jock itch or tinea cruris - one can't say exactly without a thorough evaluation.  If it is in fact tinea cruris, there are prescription formulas as well as over the counter remedies such as Miconazole powder or zeasorb that can help.  Make sure you get to your doctor to make sure there is not another underlying condition!  cheers!
