ADDITIVE EFFECT: They are both narcotics and have an additive effect. Discuss with your doctor other options. Ie long acting narcotic(Fentanyl patch), short acting narcotic (oxycodone ) and Neuro modulator (gabapentin )

Narcotics: I'm more concerned as to why you have such a severe toothache that you need narcotics. You'll need to see a dentist before the pain becomes unbearable. You may even have an abscess, and would therefore need an antibiotic. All the best..

Talk to your doctor: If you were taking them on occasion when you had pain, or one or two tablets per day, you are unlikely to have any significant withdrawal symptoms, and if you do, you can treat them with over-the-counter meds (ibuprofen or plain tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain, pepto bismal for stomach upset or cramps etc.). If you were on more, your doctor has a responsibility to help you taper off them. Talk to your doctor.

Back Pain: Seek out the cause and decide which medication you need. Both of these medications can make you drowsy and should not be taken together. All the best.

False negative test : Not every urine drug screen is 100% accurate. You are only taking a mild doseage and the test may have been falsely negative.

im in chronic pain and have fibromialgia. my current doctor has me on a butran 20mg patch and percocet 5/325.  doesnt seem to help my pain. any ideas?
