Probably uvula: Or your soft palate. It could be laxity of the naso- or oropharynx as well. This may best be diagnosed with videofluoroscopy or endoscopic visualization. Discuss with an ent.

Very possible: Yes but if it does not work,  get evaluated with  with a dentist for some custom made appliances.

snoring: Snoring results from a compromised airway. While a hockey mouthguard might increase the passageway and eliminate the snoring, it may be hiding a serious medical condition called sleep apnea, meaning that the body is not getting enough oxygen . Please discuss this with your physician.

No: A traditional mouth guard is not designed for snoring  you would need a snore guard or other sleep device which is specifically designed for snoring.

Snoring: 70% of the time, this is due to the soft palate vibrating against the back of the throat. Throat tissues can become lax over time with less elasticity, making snoring more common with age. There can be resistance to breathing through the nose or mouth due to a variety of anatomic causes which restrict airflow, causing vibration. Nasal strips, snore guards, and better pillows can help. See an ENT.

Separate problems.: For snoring, your airway is probably constricted. I recommend a sleep study usually taken at your local hospital. This can possibly be sleep apnea.It can lead to major problems. Discuss w a dr. Knowledgeable in this area.
For your second problem, see a urologist that specializes in sexual function.

No: Dry Socket is a painful condition of the bone where a tooth was recently extracted. The blood clot fails due to infection exposing the bone. It is usually very painful.
Snoring or just mouth breathing will not cause dry socket.

Snoring/OSA: Assuming you are a thin or fit young man as you say, then you likely either have large tonsils (which you would know - they are tough to hide) or else chronic nasal obstruction likely from a crooked septum or (much less likely) retained adenoids behind nasal cavity.  See an ENT to do a good endoscopic exam of your nose and throat and decide if you need a sleep study.

There are various: possible reasons for this: enlarged adenoids and/or tonsils, nasal congestion from allergies or an upper respiratory infection. Have your child's pediatrician take a look and they may also refer you to an ear,nose &amp; throat specialist.
