It : It sounds like it may be a cyst. However other lesions are possible (abscess, wart, etc.) therefore you should have your family doctor or gynecologist take a look at it. Another option is to soak three times a day for 15 minutes in a warm bath with epsom salt ( not too much wate)r. If you do not notice an improvement or the lesion worsens see your doctor.

See your doctor.: It sounds like a yeast infection, but that would only be a guess.  The only way to know for sure is to have an exam.

Difficult to say?: Without a look-see, it would be hard to say what is going on.  It could be a very minimal problem or two problems and one exacerbating the other.  These may be normal glands that are prominent and then irritated by a vaginitis or may be something more serious.  If this is persistent, then i would recommend you have it checked out by your pcp, gyn or other.
