You : You should see an ophthalmologist. Typical conservative treatment involves warm compresses and antibiotic drops such as  Azasite antibiotic drops, which seem to penetrate the lid tissue, may be useful.  If there is significant inflamation, oral antibiotics may be useful as well.   The bump is probably an chalasion, which is a swelling in the eyelid from a blockage in the meibomian gland, that secretes meibomian fluid as part of the tear solution.  If the bump is not going away, a quick surgical procedure in the office can usually resolve the problem.

Your : Your bump may be a chalazion.  This is an oil gland in the eyelid that has become blocked allowing a cyst (bump) to form.   Often warm compresses, for 5 minutes twice daily, will help the oil gland to open and the cyst to gradually drain.

If the chalazion does not resolve it can be removed with a minor office procedure.

Sounds like stye: You can try hot compresses with cotton balls 3 -4 times daily for 20 minutes. In addition, you should see an ophthalmologist who can prescribe some antibiotic-anti-inflammatory drops 4 times a day..(tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) works well.).

i have had a stye since monday - small on inner lower eyelid. now there is another growth. there is a med size red bump above eyelid. it looks like a bubble. pain when touched. neither growths have pus?

: They both could be styes or chalazions; both are blocked glands, that are not initial infections, but can become infected. Recommend warm compresses several times/day and if increasing redness, swelling, pain, fever, or they don’t resolve or they get worse, please see your doctor for an examination to be sure of the diagnosis and see if other treatment is needed.

This : This is most likely a chalazion which is an obstruction of an oil gland in the eyelid.  Warm soaks 3-4 times a day can help, but if it does not resolve, you need to see an ophthalmologist for treatment which may be medical or surgical.

The : The worst thing you could do is put a hand sanitizer near your eye, as well as try and "pop" the stye.  For proper treatment of chronic/recurrent styes, you need to see your eye care professional.
