Seems reasonable: Calcified small lung nodules as you describe are almost always benign and likely a represent a granuloma or hamartoma (a benign growth). A 6-12 month follow up seems very reasonable.

Rarely: In people without history of cancer, 5 mm or less in diameter lung nodules have a <1% chance of being malignant. Lung nodules are generally followed on ct scan for 2 years to be sure they do not grow in size. Those that grow can be biopsied by ct guidance, bronchoscopy, or surgery. : Although this appears to be a benign finding describing a little more breast tissue in one area of the breast,I would expect the radiologist would give more of a conclusion and a recommendation of some sort in the final report. I know I would insist on it.  Your ordering MD can find out more information from the radiologist for you.

Most likely OK: Small pleural based nodule is most likely a granuloma (left over from prior infection) but could conceivably be a small cancer. You will most likely be followed with ct, especially if you are a smoker. If there is no growth it is probably just a small granuloma and no biopsy is necessary. Biapical pleural parenchymal scarring is very common, but may also be followed. Calcific densities r likely ok.

Possible.: There are several mammographic characteristics that suggest benignity or malignancy, but we can't use any of them in isolation to make such an important decision diagnostically.  All characteristics should be used in unison, and if doubt still exists then a biopsy or lumpectomy should be pursued.

Need exam: A painless nodule of the neck could represent a sign of many different problems.  You need to see an otolaryngologist for evaluation and management.  This likely would include a biopsy; possibly a fine needle aspiration biopsy.
