Head injury: Head injury is serious if one has loss of consciuosness afterit or fi there is any evidence of fracture or change is sensorium, vomting after the head injury and headaches. If you ar not sure you should see your doctor butohterwise atleast call and speak to your doctor.

: I think you'd have to sustain an actual skull fracture to cause a dent and it would be a permanent dent. I can't imagine a trivial head injury to cause a true dent in the skull.

Anemia: Young girls can become anemic if they have heavy bleeding during their periods.  See your doctor for a blood test to make sure you are not anemic. Also dehydration can do this so drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine and alcohol (they are dehydrating). Take a multivitamin daily.

See a doctor: As a trauma surgeon, i can speak first-hand about the dangers of ladders--even a relatively "minor" fall can cause quite a bit of internal injuries.  The persistence of your back pain warrants a formal evaluation to be certain that there is no significant back injury.  I would make an appointment with your doctor asap or go to an er for evaluation.

: Sounds like a neurological problem. I wonder if there is a problem in the spine like a disc out of place in the neck.

Should be fine: But watch for behavior changes, unusual sleepiness,  bruising.
If was unconscious needs eval.

He will do commonly as most kids seem to find things to bump into or fall onto!
