Aloe vera juice: Try gargling with aloe vera juice twice a day to help with raw throat. But, if sinuses don't stop draining - see your doctor.

Sudafed or other decongestant might help.  A prescription for a nasally inhaled corticosteroid might help.

Travellers' virus: Sinus, cough, congestion, & sore throat after stress of travel, unique environment, loss of sleep, & airplane atmosphere common. A novel virus is oft explanatory.  Antibiotics are oft useless; unlike rest, vitamin c, clean fresh air, healthy food, & passage of several days.  If yellowish sputum, shortness of breath, chest pain, or escalating fever manifest then a doctor visit is in order.

Usually not: It may be due to anything from acid refluxing from your stomach while you sleep to allergies to an early, easy-to-treat throat cancer.  A physician office visit is indicated if it lasts two weeks or more.  I'm glad you're taking a pro-active approach to your health and i wish you luck.

See your doctor: If your symptoms have been this persistent, you need to see your doctor.  He/she will listen to you, do an examination, and possibly run some tests to see what's wrong.

It could be post: Nasal drip related to a viral infection. Sinus infection is possible but often you would feel pressure or pain over the affected sinuses. A medical evaluation would help to accurately diagnose this if the symptoms worsen or are not resolving. Take care.

Allergic sore throat: Sinus disease is always secondary to nasal inflammation (rhinitis). Rhinitis causes post-nasal drip which can cause throat irritation. By treating the rhinitis the post-nasal drip should decrease and the irritated throat and difficulty swallowing should improve. If the difficulty swallowing doesn't improve consider seeing an ENT specialist.

Patience: If you feel you are getting better i would give it some more time. Your lymph nodes can stay swollen for months after an illness. If they are getting larger, or more numerous, that is a different story and see your doc asap.

Afrin (oxymetazoline): Otc nasal sprays can be used for a short time (3-5 days) to quickly relive sinus pressure.
