Antibiotics at home: is the best "home remedy" for UTIs. Drinking lots of water can help a lot. Constipation needs 2B treated as it can both cause &amp; prolong UTIs. There is no documented study showing anything other than antibiotics will "cure" UTIs. UTIs may eventually "burn" themselves out if you drink lots of water &amp; urinate frequently.

UTI: Yes.  A UTI is an actual infection with bacteria or fungi of the urinary tract.  You can also get cystitis which is irritation of the tubes of the urinary tract which can cause burning and discomfort without infection.  Often bubble baths or irritants that contact the urethra can cause this.  Avoid synthetic underwear (wear breathable cotton) and irritants like bubble bath or soapy water.
