Many symptoms/signs: Asthenia, decreased "energy", loss of libido, depression, erectile dysfunction, weight gain, poor muscle mass, difficulty in maintaining/increasing muscle mass, lack (failure to develop) a normal male hair distribution, decreased facial hair, .......... But many of these things overlap with other conditions.
See your doctor; it's easily tested......

Here are some ...: Over the past 4-5 decades, I have never read or heard articles or discussions on the tale or concern of connecting cellulite with low-T &amp;/or high-estrogen. But, I've been impressed with hereditary trend to cellulite. Nowadays, more young men have low-T than used to be due to increasing incidence of metabolic syndromes, obesity, drug overuse/abuse, stress, poor lifestyle, etc. So, test T if needed.

Depends upon age: As we age, we tend to produce less & less testosterone. So the frequency of low testosterone increases w/age. However, the number isn't as important as how you feel. I wouldn't recommend checking levels just to prove a point. Rather i would consider checking if you were complaining of hypogonadal symptoms. Likewise, my goal would be your clinical improvement, not just a number.

So, it's reasonable to test T-level for a man with low energy....

Levels: It is important that testosterone levels be assessed on 2 separate occasions early in the morning.  Treatment will depend on those levels.  Testosterone replacement is not without its risks, with fertility being a serious concern in a young man.  A visit with a doctor familiar with trt and male fertility is recommended.
