Typhoid: The widal test is an agglutination test that detects antibodies to salmonella typhi, the cause of typhoid fever (also called enteric fever). A single titer doesn't make the diagnosis, and any treatment has to be based on all the symptoms and findings. Typhoid fever is usually treated with Ciprofloxacin  by mouth or Ceftriaxone by injection - neither is harmful to the liver.

If the blood sample was hemolyzed, potassium levels can rise.  Certain medicines can cause elevated potassium.  Side effects are minimal.  High levels of potassium can cause heart rhythm problems.  Make sure you follow up with your physician.

Decrease level: Typically in moderation uv light will help to lower billirubin, but in an adult if the billirubin level is low the problem with the liver is probably diffrent and uv is not going to solve the problem.  See your doctor, or ask yourself what habits are you doing to destroy your liver?

Depends upon med...: Statins are the most commonly prescribed cholesterol lowering medication. One well know side effect is muscle aches. There used to be greater concern for liver issues but the fda recently announced that regular monitoring was no longer required. On the other hand, the fda also acknowledged that there was evidence linking statins to increase blood sugars as well as memory concerns. Talk to your doc.

Kidney Failure: As you may know Cystinuria is a genetic disorder which leads to increased Cystine in the urine and cystine stones ( a type of kidney stone) in the urinary tract. If your kidney function is impaired you should definitely be closely watched by a kidney specialist ( Nephrologist) who can monitor and try to minimize the damage to your kidneys. The risk is failure and need for long term dialysis.
