Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the upper abdomen:  stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, etc...  An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Pain in the right upper abdomen, plus symptoms that occur after eating, can be due to gallstones or other gall bladder disease. A doctor can evaluate for gall bladder problems.

Get in.: If you are having severe abdominal pain, you need to get in to be seen right away - it could be something serious.  You could be dealing with a bad gallbladder, a bad appendix, or something else.  Please get in right away.

Bile duct stone: You could have passed a stone into the common bile duct which would cause similar symptoms. Ulcer disease or functional dyspepsia are possible. Not sure that eosinophil count is relevant. See your doctor or GI specialist for further evaluation.

Not typical: Your symptoms are not typical of HIV infection, they are not ruling it out either. Work up is recommended as other infectious, rheumatologic or blood disorders, among others, may explain them.

Gallbladder : When associated with eating two common causes can be gallstones and the other would be inflammation or ulcer of the stomach. If there is pain going to your left shoulder that would be consistent with gallbladder issues. I would recommend depending on the severity of the pain. If you can wait to see you primary care provider make an appt. If not get to the emergency room. They will do some tests.

Ruptured ovary cyst: Almost impossible to have an ectopic pregnancy with a negative bhcg test. Your symptoms may be consistent with a ruptured ovarian cyst. Be evaluated by your physician for any other potentially dangerous abnormality if the symptoms continue.
