No: Ovulation normally occurs 14 days prior to the next period. Recommend starting to have intercourse a few days prior to ovulation &amp; at ovulation (possibly a couple of days after). Can use an ovulation calendar or ovulation predictor kit to help determine best timing. Take care.

Days 7-14 of the: Cycle are the most fertile but accidents happen all the time, best bet if trying to avid would be to get on a contraceptive of some form, good luck.

Yes,: Yes, make a careful note on first day of the next period to calculate your optimal time interval for a success.

Maybe: It depends in part on when you did the pregnancy tests. If you did them after your period was late and repeated one a few days later pregnancy is very unlikely. There are many things that can disrupt your cycle and pregnancy is only one but it is the most common one if you are having unprotected intercourse. See you primary care provider or Gyn to look into the others. Hope this helps.

Unlikely: It effects the day of your ovulation which is 14 days before the first day of your menstruation and no effect on the miscarriage in my opinion.

Depends on situation: During IVF cycles lot of medication is used. Contact your treating IVF doc and see if any of the medication may be contributing to your irregular bleeding.

Can be normal: Normal cycles vary with how long it takes the egg to mature and thus ovulation to occur. The normal range is 21 days from the start of one to the start of the next to 35 days (42 according to some sources). There is also the possibility of an inadequate luteal phase which means less progesterone is produced and the level falls sooner resulting in a period sooner after ovulation.

if a girl has a shorter cycle of 25days when does she ovulate if she had bleeding for 12days .is it possible to ovulate during menstrual bleeding (12days of bleeding) or ovulation takes place only after menstrual bleeding has stopped?

: Pregnancy has known to have occurred from sex on any and all days of the cycle, including the days when the woman was bleeding. If you wish to avoid pregnancy, use contraception, all the time, every time.

Accepted Answer

Unlikely: It is always possible to get pregnant the day prior to your menses but highly unlikely as the endometrium is breaking down and implantation of a fertilized egg is more difficult.
