Back pain ; nausea: U need to see a professional to determine if u might have a herniated lumbar disc.  Bloating, nausea, l side abdominal pain may b a separate issue.  Mri for lumbar spine pathology and complete labs with amylase and lipase to r/o pancreatic issues.

i have what feels like a muscle pain under my right shoulder blade on my back. it's causing discomfort from my neck all the way down to my lower back. should i be concerned as i now how a sharp intermittent pain under my right breast when breathing?

Back pain: Much depends on severity, frequency, and duration. Would want to know if it is worse with movement, pressure, coughing, or deep breathing. Did you have an injury or acquire pain through sports or other activity (swimming)?  Is it related to sleep position or exercise?  If it lasts more than a few days, see a doctor. Get examined.

Radicullopathy : Pinched nerve or "sciatica", most commonly due to a slipped disc.  Short period of rest, application of ice to the back & nsaids (e.g. Ibuprofen)  if no contraindication may provide some relief. Acute presentation of severe pain is a good reason to go to the er or urgent care, specially during after hours. Injection of ketorolac can help. Usually needs more evaluation & therapy thereafter.

Musculoskeletal: Acute back pain in late teenager &  that is related to position suggests an acute musculoskeletal sprain.  A more uncommon explanation is renal calculus, but this pain is usually constant and excruciating to the max. If feverishness or nauseousness and/ or vomiting is associated then all bets are off and urgent evaluation recommended.  Otherwise, see an osteopath. An heating pad useful for sprains.

See Doctor: Many things can cause acute back pain.  Kidney stones are very common, but other conditions can also cause acute back pain. Herniated discs can also cause this.  In persons older than 55 aortic aneurysms must also be considered as a cause of back pain.  They can occur without abdominal pain, and are life threatening.  Go to urgent care or emergency department immediately.

Besides issues such as disc pathology or lumbar instability, random severe pain can be associated with issues such as kidney stones (renal colic).  If you suffer immense spinal pain, you need to seek out an opinion with your doctor to determine the cause.
