Go to the ER: Severe chest pain should never be taken lightly. The positional nature of the chest pain makes one think of a possible pericarditis (inflammation or infection of the lining around the heart) although this could be a heart attack, blood clot, lung infection, etc. All possibilities that are very serious and should be excluded rapidly. Especially because you are on an immunosuppressive. Go now!

Needs attention: Ms does not cause heart or lung disease but does cause occasional thoracic pain if spinal cord involvement.  Would let your doctor know about this as may represent a co-morbity involving internal organs and needs careful and thorough assessment.

Acid reflux: You may have acid reflux. Try an over the counter antacid such as Tums or zantac (ranitidine) and see if it helps. If it continues, see your doctor.

i am experiencing  chest pain or discomfort when i breathe deep. i also have severe feelings of indigestion. this started after painful vomiting twice. sternum feels heavy and almost as if air is trapped. right pectoral is now twitching rapidly.

Chest pain: Since your shoulder and chest are both connected to each other, I highly recommend you do that follow up ASAP to make sure you don't have something else broken such as broken ribs.  Your broken shoulder could have distracted you enough from looking into that.

If her own doctor is not immediately available for help, the wisest thing to do is call 911. The paramedics have oxygen, medications, and can do an EKG. The ER doctor can evaluate for lung and heart problems. Even if it is not a heart problem, the ER usually can provide diagnosis and treatment.
