Yes: This will require a referral to an epilepsy center more than likely. Video eeg to capture a seizure and see what is going on electrically is in order.

Sometimes not always: Sometimes non-epileptic seizures occur when someone is under a lot of stress, or is struggling with stress of various kinds.  One should not assume however that these are related, and each symptom should be addressed carefully and independently.

Well....: Sometimes people have seizure-like events which are due to underlying psychiatric issues. They look like epileptic seizures, but they aren't. It's possible your friend's psychiatric problems have taken on a different expression. Of course, it's also possible they have seizures and the seizures have acted like electro convulsive therapy. (This does actually happen from time to time)

Febrile seizures: Febrile seizures are usually benign in nature without anty lasting side effects.Rarely, they can be the forerunner of a seizure disorder.

on 75mg topamax (topiramate) qhs for migrane. no history of seizure, any harm in having an occasional drink or 2 w/ dinner? (alcohol isnt a trigger for me)

No: There is no harm in having 1-2 drinks with dinner. However if etoh is a trigger for headaches/migraine i would avoid it.

: Depends on type of seizures she is having. There are many kinds. Go to Drug.com and look up meds and their use during pregnancy. Then have her discuss with her dr.

is alternative treatment safe or will it cause more harm than benefit? i am a 90% rated disabled vet due to a traumatic brain injury i recieved in the military which led to seizures, cluster headaches, and a miserable quality of living on high dose narcot

First : First off, i would like to thank you for your service to our country.  I can't tell you if the benefits from medical marijuana outweigh the risks in your particular case there can be very significant deterimental effects from marijuana. 
  I would like to suggest another option, which is now available at some va medical centers-. Medical acupuncture. This is performed by a physician.  So many of our wounded warriors are obtunded by massive use of opiates to control their pain. There life can literally revolve around physical and emotional pain and it's treatment.
    Medical acupuncture is safe, effective and pretty non-invasive.  It is now being used at military treatment facilities as well as in the battlefield.  There are protocols for traumatic brain injuries, headache pain, post traumatic stress disorder, insomnia, ringing in the ears, loss of balance and more. I am using acupuncture at the military treatment facility that i work at. It provides hope and a real vehicle for recovery. God bless.

Always: Self harming is never a good idea. You should contact a counselor or be evaluated by a psychiatrist.

Get treatment: If you haven't already, you need to get evaluated by a doctor. Let them know that you think you may have depression. They will do the rest. They will likely run some lab tests to rule out any medical causes of depression, such as a low thyroid. If it is depression, they can then make the appropriate recommendations for treatment. Get the help you need so you can start enjoying life again.
